Vintage Indonesian Stick Puppets Wayang Golek Rod Puppets Baladewa & Samiaji

Welcome!!!
Presented for your purchase is a wonderful pair of vintage Indonesian Wayan Golek stick puppets. They are hand carved and painted. The wooden center rod of the puppet on the right says "Baladewa" and the rod on the left puppet says "Smiaji" (see last photo). However, I believe that "Smiaji" was misspelled and should say "Samiaji"
.
They measure approximately 28" from the top of their heads to the bottom of their dresses. The wood parts are carved of a very lightweight wood and (as shown in pictures) the heads can come off. There is some very light staining on their cloth dresses from age, but overall they are in excellent vintage condition with no damage. Please use pictures as part of the overall description.
