This fascinating book is Volume 1 of a catalog of the English and Dutch Medical ceramics in the museum of the Wellcome Institute of the History of medicine in London. it includes everything from pharmacy jars, bleeding bowls, infant and invalid feeding cups, food warmers, urinals, chamber pots and bidets to Phrenological heads.  There are numerous black and white photographs but only 2 in color. Includes bibliography and index. Dust jacket is lightly soiled with creases and wear on the edges, and is also price clipped. Boards clean but with some wear on edges. Owners name in flyleaf, and several images have check marks in pencil beside them.
